Job summary

Prosperity Partners in Bloomfield Hills is seeking a tax professional with public accounting experience to provide tax preparation and consulting services. You will prepare workpapers, research complex tax issues, and communicate with clients, while meeting strict deadlines in a collaborative, ethical environment.

With a CPA designation or progress toward licensure, you will work with individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree from an accredited four-year university.
• CPA designation or has made progress toward passing the exam.
• 3+ years’ experience in a tax-focused position.
• Proven understanding of complex accounting entries.
• Experience preparing tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Corporations, and Trusts.
• Self-motivated to seek new projects.
• Effective verbal and written communication with clients or government agencies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.
• Enthusiasm for technical topics and learning via CPE.
• Contributes to a culture of positivity and respect.
• Availability to work in Bloomfield Hills office at least 3 days per week.
