Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) seeks a Senior Associate to join the National Tax Exempt (NExT) team. You will collaborate with clients to deliver tax compliance and advisory services, and work with the tax group to resolve complex issues while growing ownership of engagements.

You will demonstrate exempt and corporate tax technical skills, manage timelines and budgets, mentor junior staff, and leverage technology to improve efficiency and client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Four years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in business services or consulting is preferred.
• Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to provide customized tax compliance and tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex tax issues
• Demonstrate exempt tax and corporate tax technical skills
• Manage engagements from scoping through delivery, with increasing ownership of timelines, budgets, and client relationships
• Learn new software and assist with development of standardized templates and tools
• Leverage technology and automation to drive efficiency, accuracy, and a best-in-class client experience
• Mentor associates and interns, helping build a high-performing, collaborative Exempt Tax team
