The role requires advanced research skills and proficiency with tax software to complete returns for review. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of tax experience, a Bachelor’s in Tax, Finance, or Accounting, and strong Excel/Office capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Tax, Finance or Accounting required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience required.
• Experience with tax research databases required.
• Experience with JD Edwards-Enterprise One System or other large ERP system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and reviews stand-alone work papers following the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Prepares and reviews typical business and personal income tax returns.
• Leads colleagues by taking ownership of assigned projects.
• Performs research projects in the area of taxation, including payroll and sales tax.
• Communicates with colleagues regarding information needed or clarification of issues.
• Assists or reviews month-end closings, as necessary.
