We are seeking a motivated Tax Senior Associate who’s ready to elevate their career while making a meaningful impact. This is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional ready to take on more ownership, deepen client relationships, and build toward a leadership track within the firm. This position is available in our Charleston, Florence or Bluffton Office.
In this role, you'llapply your tax knowledge and research skills to help clients navigate complex tax issues, ensure compliance, andidentifyopportunities to minimize their tax burden.You'llplay a key role in preparing and reviewing tax filings, supporting client engagements, and as your experience grows, supervising and mentoring Tax Associates.
What You’ll Do
- Apply tax knowledge to intermediate level flow-through returns and complex individual returns
- Apply strong analytical skills to business transactions
- Perform reviews of individual and business tax returns while providing guidance tojunior team members and interns
- Research tax issues toidentifyoptions that align with client goals
- Resolve open itemsandissues on assigned engagements
- Manage engagement budgets andindividual productivity;proactivelyidentifyefficiencies
- Effectively manage and prioritize concurrent assignments through to completion
- Guide and develop staff throughout engagements, offeringtimely, honest, and constructive feedback to support their growth
- Serve as abuddyand role model through active participation in firm committeesand events
- Contributenew ideasthat improve outcomes for clients, the firm, and colleagues

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree inAccounting,MS/MAccpreferred
- CPA license or eligible to sit for the CPA exam
- 2+ years of relevant tax experienceincluding partnerships;Real Estate/Construction experience is a plus but notrequired.
- Basic supervisory experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specificallyExcel,WordandOutlook
- Experience with tax research databases and tax compliance software
