LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Tax Analyst/Senior Tax Analyst to join its accounting team in Phoenix. This role offers exposure to a growing tax function and opportunities for advancement as responsibilities expand in-house.

The ideal candidate has solid SALT experience, tax research capabilities, and advanced Excel skills. The position requires independence in a fast-paced environment, with a 4 days on-site / 1 day remote arrangement after the first 30 days.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of tax experience in public accounting and/or industry.
• Strong state and local tax (SALT) background.
• Experience conducting tax research and applying complex regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• CPA or Master's in Taxation preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and manage state and local tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.
• Research and interpret tax regulations, including economic nexus, licensing requirements, and unclaimed property laws.
• Assist with tax planning initiatives and process improvements.
• Partner with external advisors and internal stakeholders on tax-related matters.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting the business.
• Support audits, tax reporting, and compliance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen tax processes.
