Management Performance Associates in Phoenix is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to prepare tax provisions, filings, and year-end closes. You will respond to notices and support month-end entries within a growing tax team.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate settings, with CPA or CPA candidate status preferred, and strong state and local tax knowledge.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Masters of Tax is a plus
• Minimum of 3–5 years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate environment
• CPA or CPA candidate highly preferred
• Highly organized, driven and coachable mindset
• Detail oriented and analytical
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership
• Strong state and local tax knowledge is preferred
• Experience with manufacturing, retail, insurance or mortgage industries is a plus
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Blackline, FAS, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions and related disclosures
• Ensure timely federal and state tax compliance calculations and filings
• Monitor and respond to tax notices including audits
• Prepare month-end tax journal entries and perform reconciliations
• Assist with design, implementation, and maintenance of tax processes and controls
• Assist with tax planning, due diligence, and acquisitions as needed
• Research and provide information requested by management and external parties
