$65,000.00/yr - $195,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying tax issue related to new business initiatives
• Researching tax issues including taxability of products and services
• Provide tax reporting guidance based on research of transaction tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Respond to and resolve notices promptly
• Review tax filings
• Review reconciliations of tax general ledger accounts
• Special projects as needed

Required skills / Minimum Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
• 3-8 years of indirect and direct tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation
• Advanced knowledge of tax accounting, audit process, and tax law
• Experience with preparing complicated tax returns for corporate
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to deliver on tight timelines
• Be able to work with multicultural teams and be patient and understanding
• Be able to work with a fast paced start-up
• Experience from a Big-4 public accounting firm is preferred
• CPA required
• Fluent in Mandarin and English
