Qualifications

• Familiarity with GAAP, financial reporting, auditing procedures, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to help clients minimize liabilities and achieve their financial objectives.
• Advise clients on estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and estate-related tax considerations.
• Conduct tax research and analyze evolving tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Support complex financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and asset management activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP and applicable regulatory standards.
• Perform account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and detailed financial analysis.
• Apply accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping, debits and credits, and general ledger analysis.
• Assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Communicate complex tax and accounting concepts clearly to clients and provide practical recommendations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax standards.
