Job summary

EisnerAmper’s Private Client Services (PCS) team serves family-owned, closely held businesses and high net-worth individuals with proactive tax solutions. The Tax Associate will prepare and review US tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, while building client relationships and staying current on tax laws.

Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s in accounting, 2+ years public accounting tax experience, and knowledge of GoSystems or CCH Axcess; preferred master’s in taxation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 2+ years of recent tax compliance experience within public accounting.
• Experience preparing U.S. based tax returns for partnerships, S-corps, and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership.
• Develop a working knowledge of the client’s business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
