Job summary

EisnerAmper in New York is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join the Private Client Services (PCS) team. You will prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, and build strong client relationships.

The role requires 4+ years of tax compliance experience from public accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and knowledge of US tax regulations. Preference for CPA or Enrolled Agent and GoSystems/CCH Axcess experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 4+ years of recent tax compliance experience within public accounting.
• Experience preparing US based tax returns for partnerships, S-corps, and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationships with firm leadership.
• Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and proactively apply new knowledge to client engagements.
• Collaborate with other tax professionals within the firm to coordinate efforts, share knowledge, and ensure efficient and effective delivery of tax services.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Professional Development: Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance technical knowledge and develop industry-specific expertise.
