Confidential Employer in Florida seeks an experienced tax professional to prepare individual, corporate, and partnership returns on-site in Bunnell. You will meet with clients, provide guidance, and manage tax projects with accuracy and care.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of client-facing tax prep experience, strong 1040 knowledge, and proficiency with TaxWise/UltraTax. Remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional, client-facing tax preparation experience.
• Strong experience preparing Form 1040 individual income tax returns.
• Experience preparing Forms 1065 and 1120 is highly preferred.
• Experience using professional commercial tax preparation software such as TaxWise, UltraTax, or similar software.
• Strong knowledge of tax forms, tax rules, and the relationships between forms.
• Enrolled Agent or CPA credential preferred.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely federal and state individual tax returns, including extensive Form 1040 work.
• Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns based on experience, including Forms 1065 and 1120.
• Meet directly with clients to gather information and explain tax matters clearly.
• Review client financial and tax documentation to identify missing information and potential tax considerations.
• Communicate with clients by phone, email, and in person regarding returns and tax planning.
