Responsibilities

• Prepare technical memoranda, tax analyses, opinion support, and other written work products addressing complex tax issues.
• Research federal income tax issues and provide technical advice to engagement teams and clients.
• Assist with tax advocacy and controversy services on civil matters and IRS negotiations.
• Assist with tax analysis of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, financings, and restructurings.
• Contribute to development of Baker Tilly's tax opinion and consulting practice.
• Develop internal and external thought leadership materials like articles and webinars.
