Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a growing tax practice. You will prepare and review complex federal and state returns, manage client relationships, and lead strategic tax planning initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in public accounting with proficiency in 1040 individual returns and other tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of state and local tax, federal & state tax, and high net worth clients.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, real estate, and exempt organizations.
• Develop and maintain understanding of federal and state tax codes.
• Assist clients with estimates, projections, planning, and compliance across tax law areas.
• Manage relationships with high-net-worth clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services.
• Collaborate with partners, managers, and staff to integrate client service and business development.
• Research tax matters and utilize tax software to prepare/ process returns.
