Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join our growing CPA practice in a fully remote role. You will manage a diverse client portfolio and contribute to leading the tax practice with proactive planning and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA, a bachelor’s in accounting (Master’s in Taxation a plus), 3+ years in public accounting tax, and proficiency with CCH Axcess. Salary range is $75,000–$95,000 per year with solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation a plus.
• Active CPA license (or eligible and actively pursuing licensure).
• 3+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state tax law, with experience in pass-through entities preferred.
• Proficiency with tax and workpaper software (CCH Axcess).

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, including individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates
• Prep/review federal and state tax returns and workpapers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Research complex tax issues and prepare clear memoranda and recommendations
• Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to clients
