Incite Tax is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to balance a demanding season with a real-life schedule. Fully remote within the U.S., or hybrid/onsite options in Draper or Lindon, UT, offer flexibility while maintaining client service excellence.

Qualifications

• CPA license or EA certification preferred; 4+ years in tax or public accounting.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns.
• Proficient in tax software (CCH) and accounting systems; strong compliance knowledge.
• Skilled in peer review, mentoring, and supporting team members.
• Excellent communication and client advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare & Review Returns: Handle individual and business tax returns with accuracy and confidence.
• Advise Clients: Identify tax-saving opportunities, recommend proactive strategies, and communicate with clients clearly and consistently.
• Lead & Mentor: Support and guide junior tax accountants, conduct peer reviews, and share feedback to strengthen team performance.
• Peak Season Performance: Reviewing 25-30 returns per week during peak season and 15 in off season (depending on position level) while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with fellow senior accountants to ensure consistent, high-quality results and efficient processes.
• Stay Current: Keep up to date with tax law changes and compliance requirements to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Grow with Us: Participate in ongoing training and contribute ideas that improve our tax systems and client experience.
