You will work with managers and partners on tax compliance, planning and consulting, while mentoring staff and taking ownership of engagements. The role emphasizes client service and technical leadership, with growth opportunities within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license, EA credential, or active pursuit of certification.
• 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
• Strong client service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience mentoring or supervising staff preferred.
• Experience with UltraTax, SurePrep, QuickBooks, and Thomson Reuters software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, 1041).
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.
• Coach and provide technical guidance to staff.
• Assist with tax research, planning opportunities, and special projects.
• Assist leadership with onboarding and staff development.
• Contribute to engagement budgeting and profitability.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve tax matters.
