Leoforce in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Tax Manager to serve as the primary tax advisor for a diverse client base, including high net worth individuals, trusts, estates, S corporations, and partnerships. You will lead proactive planning, oversee complex filings, and manage client relationships.

The role requires leadership to mentor staff, coordinate with attorneys and wealth advisors, and drive engagement timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience as tax advisor for multiple client types.
• Proficient in federal/state tax compliance and planning.
• Strong research and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary tax advisor and relationship manager for clients.
• Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services for high net worth individuals, trusts, estates, S corporations, partnerships.
• Review complex federal, state, and local tax returns and oversee forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120-S, 709.
• Coach, mentor, and develop tax staff and senior associates.
• Manage multiple client engagements and oversee budgets and project timelines.
• Coordinate with attorneys, wealth advisors, consultants, and external professionals.
• Contribute to business development and firm growth.
