Job summary

You will supervise and coach team members, interface with authorities, prepare monthly/quarterly filings, and help build client relationships while pursuing new referral sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or JD.
• Public accounting experience of at least three years.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of federal, state and local tax code.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax projections and returns for business and individual clients.
• Ensure workpapers and deliverables meet firm standards.
• Independently identify issues, research, and document findings.
• Interface with taxing authorities and assist in audits.
• Supervise, coach, direct and review staff.
• Develop marketing goals and referral sources.
