Job summary

KLA Industries in the Western Suburbs of Chicago seeks a Senior Tax Accountant to join the corporate tax team. The position offers a hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote) with a base pay of $80K–$105K plus a 10% bonus.

You will handle federal and state returns, estimated payments, provisions, and audits, while gaining exposure to international and other corporate tax areas. A path to Tax Manager and excellent work-life balance are noted benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of federal/state corporate income tax experience.
• Strong Form 1120 experience.
• Public accounting or corporate tax background.
• Onesource experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review federal and state corporate income tax returns (Form 1120).
• Prepare/review federal and state estimated tax payments.
• Prepare workpapers for book-to-tax differences.
• Prepare and review quarterly and year-end tax provisions.
• Review tax work prepared by outside service providers.
• Research federal and state tax laws and filing requirements.
• Assist with federal and state tax audits.
• Support personal property, sales & use and other tax filings.
• Gain exposure to international and other areas of corporate tax.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Review federal and state corporate income tax returns, including Form 1120

WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR:
