6 Degrees Search is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its corporate tax team in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. The role offers a base salary of $80K–$105K plus a 10% bonus and a hybrid work arrangement (2 days in office / 3 days remote).

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of federal/state corporate income tax experience.
• Strong Form 1120 experience.
• Public accounting and/or corporate tax background.
• Tax compliance and provision experience.
• ONESOURCE experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review federal and state corporate income tax returns, including Form 1120.
• Prepare/review federal and state estimated tax payments.
• Prepare workpapers for book-to-tax differences.
• Prepare and review quarterly and year-end tax provisions.
• Review tax work prepared by outside service providers.
• Research federal and state tax laws and filing requirements.
• Assist with federal and state tax audits.
• Support personal property, sales & use and other tax filings.
• Gain exposure to international and other areas of corporate tax.
