Tom Trese Networking LLC in the Western Suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join a growing corporate tax team. The role offers broad exposure to federal, state and international tax with a strong work/life balance and potential advancement to Tax Manager.

The position is hybrid (2 days in office / 3 days from home) with a compensation range of $80K–$105K base plus a 10% bonus. Ideal for tax professionals seeking growth in a billion-dollar global company and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of federal/state corporate income tax experience
• Strong Form 1120 experience
• Public accounting and/or corporate tax background
• Tax compliance and provision experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

• Review federal and state corporate income tax returns, including Form 1120
• Prepare/review federal and state estimated tax payments
• Prepare workpapers for book-to-tax differences
• Prepare and review quarterly and year-end tax provisions
• Review tax work prepared by outside service providers
• Research federal and state tax laws and filing requirements
• Assist with federal and state tax audits
• Support personal property, sales & use and other tax filings
• Gain exposure to international and other areas of corporate tax

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
