Lombardo Ayers & Company is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our team!

We are a full-service Certified Public Accounting firm offering tax, audit, consulting, and business advisory services to clients in a wide variety of industries. Due to our continued growth, we are constantly seeking talented individuals to join our team of professionals in providing superior client services. This position will allow you to grow and develop with a wide variety of projects and services. We offer training and education opportunities and provide prospects for advancement.

Essential Functions:

• Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership, and individual tax services.
• Devise, plan, and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues.
• Prepare and/or review returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals.
• Work closely with managers, and partners on tax engagements.
• Develop an understanding of clients’ business transactions toward tax implications.
• Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships; develop and build client confidence.
• Provide both leadership and supervision to less experienced Tax Staff and Tax Interns.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years' experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in tax complexity, scope, and research.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• A current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or EA (Enrolled Agent) license or actively pursuing certification.
• Capable of preparing and completing more complex projects.
• Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge necessary for advising clients.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat products.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
• Strong communication, client service, and organizational skills.
• Personable, respectful, and dedicated.
• Flexible and friendly work environment.
