The Senior Tax Accountant position is a key part of the Tax Accounting, Tax Consolidation, Forecast, and External Reporting team within the Enterprise Operations Corporate Tax Organization. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting various financial tasks and projects, with opportunities for growth, development, and making a tangible impact on the company's financial success.

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in tax accounting, forecasting, and compliance. You will work closely with other teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of tax-related activities and contribute to the company's financial success.

Some Key Responsibilities For The Role Include

• Supporting quarterly and annual accounting income tax provisions pursuant to ASC740, including preparing tax entries and reconciling federal tax accounts.
• Assist in income tax compliance activities, including provision-to-return adjustments, tax return and extension preparation and coordinating with and supporting external tax audit.
• Reconciling deferred tax balances during quarterly financial closes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with tax forecasting and financial modeling initiatives to provide strategic insights and support business decisions.
• Conducting special tax projects as needed, such as financial impact analyzes, tax provisions, and liability forecasts and projects in related areas
• Support income tax audits, including gathering data to comply with IRS and state and local audit requests.
• Assisting with the review of new and existing tax laws, court case, regulations, and rulings to provide strategic insight on potential company impacts and inform business decisions.
