David Mladenka is a Senior Manager for LHH Consulting, a CFO advisory and project execution services firm.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant with expertise in US Consolidated tax compliance and tax provisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, compliance, and tax planning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of tax compliance including state income tax returns along with the consolidated US tax return, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
• Preparation and review of permanent and temporary book-tax differences, including PP&E differences, and calculation of current tax liabilities and receivables.
• Preparation of federal and state tax estimates and state-federal taxable income adjustments.
• Assist with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.
• Assist on various tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and international transactions.
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on domestic tax matters.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, including familiarity with GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in tax software such as Corptax or OneSource, along with MS Dynamics and Sage FAS.
