Job summary

The role emphasizes coaching, performance evaluation, and scenario-driven instruction to prepare for high-tempo operations with combat systems mastery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Seven years of hands-on experience with the required systems.
• Experience as TAO/Combat System Coordinator on Aegis warfare systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and conduct advanced tactical training for Navy personnel in TAO and warfare watchstations.
• Conduct simulator and laboratory-based training with realistic tactical scenarios.
• Mentor and coach students, giving real-time guidance and post-exercise feedback.
• Evaluate student performance against tactical and qualification standards.
• Train personnel in interpretation and integration of sensor, comms, and network data.
• Develop and execute complex scenarios requiring prioritization and timely decisions.
• Ensure safety and compliance in training environments.
