Job summary

Leidos is seeking a full‑time Warfare Coordinator to support Naval and AEGIS Tactical training in Norfolk, VA. You will develop, organize, and conduct classroom and tactical lab training for Surface, Air, CSC, and TAO, and serve as the SME guiding sailors in the tactical employment of the Aegis Weapon System.

The role requires 7+ years of Navy warfare experience, active Secret clearance, and strong written and spoken communication.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and Secret Security Clearance required.
• 7+ years of U.S. Navy surface/air warfare experience with multiple platforms.
• Experience as a warfare coordinator operator/technician; supervisor/maintenance background preferred.
• Ability to write clear, concise technical correspondence.
• Strong oral and written communication; highly organized and able to multitask.
• Experience with dynamic programs and coordinating multiple engineering disciplines.
• Understanding of U.S. Navy system architecture and combatant knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and conduct Warfare Coordinator training and evaluation for Surface, Air, CSC, and TAO.
• Serve as SME and training advisor to train CG/DDG sailors in Aegis Weapon System employment.
• Support curriculum development for SCSTC courses and Train to Qualify/Train to Certify processes.
• Provide primary watch-team instruction in AEGIS Combat Weapon Systems and assess performance.
• Review Navy doctrine and optimize tactical employment of ship's Combat Systems in dynamic environments.
