Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an IAMD Tactical Action Officer Trainer for onsite duties in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on preparing and delivering Navy Combat Systems training, including curriculum development and evaluation of trainee performance.

The ideal candidate holds an Active Secret clearance, 8 years of combat systems experience, and TAO or Master/Afloat Training Specialist background is a plus. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• 8 years of experience in combat systems tactical employment and C2 of shipboard operations.
• Experience as TAO and/or Master/Afloat Training Specialist a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and customize curriculum lesson plans and instructor guides.
• Deliver Navy Combat Systems training programs and materials.
• Maintain records of training activities and participant progress.
• Assess training effectiveness and provide feedback for course improvements.
• Support other instructor qualifications and NETC evaluations.
