Job summary

Alexander Mann Solutions is seeking a Senior Talent Sourcer – High-Volume Engineering & Field Recruitment to partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiters, delivering high-quality candidate shortlists for energy sector roles.

You'll drive end-to-end sourcing strategies, manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment, and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders while mentoring junior colleagues. This contract role initially runs for 3 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting and sourcing across the energy sector, including field technicians, electricians, engineering professionals, and operations roles.
• Experience supporting recruitment for field-based environments, data centers, electrical energy, and power-related operations.
• Proven expertise in candidate pipeline development, market research, proactive sourcing, and delivering exceptional hiring outcomes.
• Strong understanding of specialized talent markets, including professionals responsible for equipment inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and field service.
• Experience recruiting for high-volume and specialized technical roles, with the ability to identify and engage talent in competitive engineering and skilled-trades markets.
• Proven end-to-end recruitment experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and stakeholder consultation.
• Strong ability to assess and evaluate recruitment expertise, demonstrating deep knowledge of sourcing strategies, talent mapping, competency-based interviewing, and selection methodologies.
• Highly developed relationship management skills, building trusted partnerships with hiring managers, candidates, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously, managing priorities independently while delivering against agreed timelines and objectives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement capability, confidently advising, influencing, and managing expectations at multiple levels within the organisation.

We’re looking for a Senior Talent Sourcer – High-Volume Engineering & Field Recruitment who enjoys learning and values teamwork.

Senior Talent Sourcers play a key role in our clients’ success by partnering with Hiring Managers and Recruiters and developing effective, consultative, professional relationships with them. Are brand ambassadors for our clients, bringing each opportunity to life with candidates in a compelling and authentic way to ensure they are qualified, interested and engaged before being presented to the Hiring Manager.

A Principal Sourcing Specialist is a true subject matter expert in recruitment and sourcing and will confidently partner with senior stakeholders to understand even the most complex hiring needs, developing sourcing strategies which focus on finding and engaging passive talent across specialist disciplines.

Candidates will need to reside in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Georgia, Florida, Texas or New York.

Contract Length: 3 months initially, with potential for extension

Salary range: $78,000 - 103,000 USD

Key Accountabilities

Key Responsibilities and Activities

• Apply your talent sourcing and high-volume recruitment expertise to attract and hire qualified warehouse, material handling, and frontline operations talent within tight timelines.
• Use your candidate pipelining and screening skills to manage multiple requisitions, conduct high-volume phone screens, and deliver quality candidate shortlists.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand workforce needs, align on hiring priorities, and ensure an excellent hiring experience.
• Contribute to meeting hiring targets and reducing time-to-fill by leveraging your stakeholder management and recruitment planning skills.
• Drive improvements in recruitment efficiency and candidate attraction strategies through your strengths in sourcing, process optimization, and problem-solving.
• Work with Recruiters to develop partnerships and working relationships that deliver a great candidate and hiring manager experience. You will lead on recruiting discussions and ensure you’re viewed as a thought leader who can expertly develop sourcing strategies that deliver great talent.
• Partner with experts in sourcing and talent intelligence to develop effective sourcing strategies and ensure that you’re using talent intelligence to influence your client stakeholders and hiring outcomes. Proactively ensure you’re bringing insight and intelligence to recruiting discussions at the beginning of the process.
• Show tact and confidence in talking to client stakeholders. Ensure you’re leveraging your knowledge and wider AMS network to propose solutions that deliver the right results for your clients and AMS e.g., proposing alternative ways to find niche skills in a competitive market.
• Be accountable for the delivery of high quality, engaged candidate shortlists to your Hiring Managers with accurate and complete information to help them make informed hiring decisions. As a Trusted Advisor, make clear recommendations on your shortlisted candidates and speculatively introduce candidates of interest to your key stakeholders.
• Work with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand and share candidate feedback, challenges, and successes, advocating potential solutions and making recommendations to inform and adapt the recruitment strategy e.g., hiring in alternative locations, exploring different talent pools or updating job descriptions.
• Support, coach, and mentor junior colleagues, acting as lead in problem solving discussions.
