Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist Sr for a contract, onsite role in Canton, OH. You will lead full life cycle recruiting for corporate and exempt roles, focusing on engineering, project management, and other professional positions.

You will partner with hiring managers, screen and interview candidates, coordinate offers, and ensure onboarding while maintaining compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of corporate recruitment experience for professional and management roles.
• Experience with ATS and online recruiting sources required.
• Technical recruiting experience, especially for engineering and PMs.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Bachelor's in HR or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Manage full life cycle recruiting for exempt and nonexempt roles.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and administer assessments.
• Perform reference and background checks and make hire/no-hire recommendations.
• Deliver offers and communicate benefits and terms.
• Serve as SME for recruiting in assigned territories.
• Collaborate with Sourcing Specialists to present diverse candidate slates.
• Manage internal transfers, coordinate interviews, and issue transfer letters.
• Ensure onboarding and new hire orientation are completed.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state employment laws, including affirmative action.
• Maintain candidate activity in ATS and keep files compliant.
