ESF Camps & Experiences is hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter to lead high-volume, full-cycle recruitment for seasonal staff across multiple camps in PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, and MD. This year-round, in-person role is based in Bryn Mawr, PA, with responsibilities spanning sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for residential staff, counselors, coaches, teachers, lifeguards, and more.

• Ability to conduct criminal background checks and manage onboarding documents.

Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, retain, and onboard seasonal staff for multiple camps/programs across PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, and MD.
• Develop and execute a strategic full-cycle hiring plan to staff multiple sites.
• Run metrics and searches in the ATS to track progress.
• Coordinate with internal departments and site leaders to ensure staffing needs are met.
• Represent ESF at recruiting events and manage candidate communications.

ESF (Education, Sport, and Fun) features award-winning camp programs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware, and Florida for people of all ages. ESF is considered one of the country's leading camping companies and people developers. We are hiring a full-time Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter to lead high-volume, full-cycle hiring for seasonal team members across multiple day and residential camps in PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, and MD.

Position Scope Factors

The Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter is employed on a year-round basis in Bryn Mawr, PA and performs full lifecycle recruitment responsibilities for ESF Camps' core programs, which offer a variety of activities (including art, science, sports, swimming, technology). Also included are our Pro-Team Sports Programs-baseball camps with the Philadelphia Phillies, basketball camps with the Philadelphia 76ers, along with ESF's Pre-College Academic summer academic programs.

Position Objective/Purpose

We are seeking highly seasoned, motivated team members who believe deeply in the organization's mission and who display strong organizational skills and a keen eye for talent. This individual is responsible for implementing ESF's high-volume sourcing and recruitment processes in order to staff our summer camps. The Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter must have extensive experience building positive relationships with candidates, schools, and other organizations to develop a robust pipeline of mission-driven candidates. The Senior Talent Acquisition Recruiter must complete multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high volume recruiting environment, while always maintaining the professional standards of ESF.

Talent Acquisition Recruiter Job Responsibilities (Year-Round)

• Strategically source, recruit, retain, and onboard seasonal team members (Residential staff, Counselors, Coaches, Teachers, Lifeguards, Production Assistants, Administrative Assistants, Nurses, Leadership, etc.) to work at multiple day and overnight camps/programs for children ages 3 to 18 in PA, NJ, CT, DE, MD, and NY.
• Implement a strategic full-cycle hiring plan to ensure adequate staffing across multiple sites and programs, including both day camps and residential programs.
• - Utilize innovative sourcing techniques (Handshake, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) to recruit top talent.
• Develop relationships with colleges/universities to attract candidates from education, psychology, and other family-related fields; or from fields relevant to ESF's program offerings (sports, aquatics, arts, science, technology).
• Partner with local feeder schools and community organizations to recruit applicants.
• Retain great returning staff and nurture referrals of ESF job opportunities.
• Represent ESF at recruiting and networking events (occasional nights and weekends)
• Run metrics reports and keyword searches in the applicant tracking system.
• Conduct background checks and reference checks for all hires.
• Utilize the applicant tracking system to manage applicants' hiring and onboarding requirements.
• Work closely with internal departments (Finance, Marketing, Admissions, Customer Engagement, and Operations), Site Directors and vendors.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience performing high-volume and full lifecycle recruiting
• Prior high volume recruiting/hiring experience with a service, education, or sports-focused organization is preferred.
• Prior experience recruiting day and residential staff for camps, athletics, or educational purposes is preferred.
• Prior experience in the camp industry, the education field (including higher education), or other fields related to ESF's program offerings (sports, arts, science, etc.) is a plus.
• Applicant tracking system and HRIS experience required.
• Previous experience recruiting candidates using digital platforms and/or social media.
• Experience with conducting criminal background checks, reference checks, and collecting/tracking other key onboarding documents and requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with concentration in Human Resources, Education, or a related concentration preferred.

Reporting Relationship

• Reports directly to the Regional Director (also takes direction from the Chief Experience Officer and CEO)

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Year-round position
• Minimum 40 hours per week during the non-peak season; minimum 45-55 hours per week during peak season
• Travel (occasional) to local ESF sites and schools for interviews, events, and training.
