Job summary

Directive Consulting is seeking an Associate Director of Talent Acquisition to build world-class teams and lead a small recruiting group. This player-coach role blends hands-on delivery with strategic leadership to elevate hiring operations and candidate experience.

Reporting to the Head of People Operations, you will own Ashby ATS, drive data-driven decisions, and develop scalable processes. This remote role partners with global leaders to align talent strategy with growth.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Talent Acquisition experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience managing recruiters or talent acquisition teams.
• Experience recruiting for executive, leadership and highly specialized roles.
• Proven ability to develop sophisticated sourcing strategies utilizing advanced Boolean searches, networking, referrals, market mapping and creative sourcing techniques.
• Power user of ATS and recruitment analytics tools; experience with Ashby and/or Juicebox is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Partners, creating a high-performance recruiting organization.
• Personally manage a portfolio of high-impact and executive-level searches across the business; lead full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer negotiation and close.
• Partner with senior leadership to define hiring strategies for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
• Conduct structured interviews and assess candidates for technical capability, leadership potential, and alignment with directives values.
• Build proactive talent pipelines through networking, sourcing, referrals, and market mapping.
