PBS Aerospace Inc. is seeking a high-energy Lead Recruiter in Georgia to own and drive our talent acquisition for critical operations roles. You will build robust pipelines, partner with leadership, and shape an employer brand in a fast-growing defense manufacturing environment.

You will manage end-to-end recruiting, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with federal contracting requirements while delivering a fast, candidate-centric process that supports rapid growth and operational needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in manufacturing/defense or similar.
• Demonstrated success filling 30–40+ requisitions concurrently.
• Deep knowledge of creative sourcing beyond job boards (LinkedIn, Boolean, events).
• Experience recruiting in government contracting or defense environment preferred.
• Familiarity with OFCCP/EEOC compliance for federal contractors.
• Proficiency with ATS systems (ADP Total Source, Workday, iCIMS, Greenhouse).
• Data-driven mindset; measure what matters and act on findings.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle, high-volume recruiting for operations roles (assembly, testing technicians, quality inspectors, machinists, etc.).
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to forecast headcount.
• Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline via fairs, schools, veterans groups, social media, referrals.
• Develop an employer value proposition differentiating PBS Aerospace in defense/manufacturing.
• Track recruiting metrics and continuously improve processes.
• Mentor junior recruiters; set performance standards.
• Ensure a fast, respectful candidate experience aligned with company values.
• Manage relationships with staffing agencies and vendors; negotiate contracts.
• Ensure compliance with EEOC, OFCCP, and government contractor requirements.
• Support engineers, program managers, and finance recruiting as capacity allows.
