Job summary

PBS Aerospace Inc. in Georgia seeks a Commodity Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic sourcing and supplier development for precision machined and fabricating components in aerospace and defense applications.

You will develop supplier networks, conduct should-cost and TCO analyses, and drive cost-reduction initiatives while ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with engineering specs.

Qualifications

• Experience with machined and fabricated components.
• Knowledge of machining, fabrication and tolerances is a plus.
• Familiarity with aerospace/defense supplier networks and FAR/DFARS is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic sourcing and supplier relationships.
• Lead RFIs, RFQs, and supplier evaluations to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on supplier approvals and non-conformances.
