Job summary

Rainmaker is seeking a Senior Recruiter to build and lead Rainmaker's recruiting engine, spanning sourcing, interview design, decision-making, and candidate experience. You will partner with the Head of People and leadership to scale hiring with rigor and excellence.

You will own end-to-end recruitment, ensuring fast, predictable, and high-quality hires while upholding Rainmaker's culture and bar across cross-functional teams in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience recruiting in a high-growth company with a track record of building exceptional recruiting operations including its process, systems and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to hire hard-to-find talent in engineering, hardware, science, operations, and senior leadership.
• Deep fluency in structured, evidence-based hiring with scorecards, signal-owned interview loops, and calibrated debriefs.
• Strong sourcing and closing instincts with proactive pipeline-building.
• Exceptional communication, judgment, and follow-through across technical, scientific, operational, and exec teams.

Responsibilities

• Build the recruiting engine: create a system for sourcing, interviewing loops, closing playbooks, and weekly reviews.
• Reach the people who clear the bar: target mapping, sharp outreach, and evaluating exceptional candidates.
• Run a rigorous, evidence-based hiring process with objective signals and calibrated closes.
• Own the candidate experience from first contact to offer, maintaining respect and professionalism.
• Protect Rainmaker's bar and culture by upholding high standards amid speed pressures.
