Job summary

Metronome, LLC is seeking a Tactical Networks Mission Engineering Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) in San Diego, CA. The role supports rapid fielding of network implementations and integration of external capabilities for tactical networks, with responsibilities spanning CONOPS, fleet introduction, and cross-agency coordination.

The position requires 7+ years leading multisite/remote engineering teams, strong documentation skills, and experience with network/system integration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading multisite or remote engineering teams
• 7+ years developing technical documentation (concepts, requirements, integration plans, or CONOPS)
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across Navy programs, Fleet organizations, Warfare Development Commands, or other federal agencies
• Experience supporting network or systems integration, testing, and fielding activities
• Experience with modeling, simulation environments, or engineering tools used in network/system development
• Experience troubleshooting and restoring network or system issues in operational or fleetsupport contexts
• Proven track record of performance in stakeholderfacing roles requiring relationship building and crossprogram coordination

Responsibilities

• Support CONOPS development and Fleet Introduction activities
• Lead remote engineering teams supporting development, testing, modeling, simulation, and integration for tactical networks products
• Coordinate with Fleet Commands, Warfare Development Commands, PMWs, and enterprise partners
• Manage integration efforts with external stakeholder capabilities
