Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Tactical Command and Control Operations SME for the CAF DTC at Langley AFB, VA to facilitate distributed training for U.S. and allied aircrews and JTACs using high-fidelity simulators.

You’ll role‑play ABM, AOC, and other C2 positions, learning and executing missions with ASCOT, CES, NGTS, and MACE. Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR is required; travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR.
• Former ABM/AIC/WD with experience in E-3/AWACS, E-2, CRC, TAOC, or BMCS.
• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years’ command and control experience; or Master’s with 7+; or PhD with 4+.
• Thorough knowledge of AFTTP 3-1 or service equivalent manual.
• Thorough knowledge of ALSSA Brevity and ALSSA Air Control Communication.
• Operationally relevant experience in the past 10 years (simulator acceptable).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support training by scheduling, mission planning, creating materials, briefing, executing, and debriefing LFEs and small-team events.
• Attend CAF exercise planning conferences and incorporate unit training requirements into missions.
• Provide consulting to military/defense clients to develop and evaluate training and doctrine; assist with scenario development and data analysis.
