Job summary

Gates Foundation in Seattle, WA seeks an experienced Senior Officer – Projects, Talent Acquisition to lead specialized hiring initiatives and executive-level mandates. You will act as a strategic talent advisor to senior leadership, owning requisitions end-to-end and building pipelines with leadership and highly specialized technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
• At least 10 years in talent acquisition or relevant field with 2+ years managing strategic projects.
• Experience leading executive-level searches, in-house or in a firm, with deep sourcing expertise.
• Experience developing innovative programs, tools, and processes in talent acquisition.
• Strong collaboration in a matrixed environment and ability to work independently on creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects to improve efficiency and service delivery across talent acquisition and HR.
• Identify opportunities to optimize resources and expand use of technology and automation.
• Drive strategic sourcing and improve internal recruitment practices through data-driven insights.
• Own and deliver specialized and executive-level requisitions end-to-end from intake to offer.
• Develop talent strategies and build a robust pipeline with leadership and specialized technical capabilities.
• Establish trust-based relationships with business, operations, and HR partners; drive vendor optimization.
