Job summary

Cleco Corporate Holdings LLC is seeking an Asset Manager-T&D to oversee strategic management, maintenance, and optimization of key transmission & distribution assets. This senior individual contributor role focuses on risk mitigation, long-range planning, and achieving safety, reliability, and sustainability goals across the asset lifecycle.

The position requires a strong background in T&D maintenance, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology with 10 years of experience or 15 years T&D experience in lieu.
Strong T&D maintenance experience with emphasis on strategic thinking, risk management and business planning.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety requirements in the energy sector.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with enterprise asset management software is a plus.
Strong leadership and cross-department collaboration abilities.
Proficiency in Power BI data analysis to create reports; knowledge of Tableau is a plus.
CMMS, Asset Management and SAP experience.
Understanding of equipment and systems in Power Generation and T&D.

Responsibilities

Asset Lifecycle Management: lead strategies and asset plans for T&D assets across procurement to replacement.
Risk Management: identify, evaluate, and mitigate asset failure and compliance risks.
Maintenance Planning: create preventive maintenance strategies and schedules.
Condition Monitoring & Performance Analysis: use systems to monitor health and performance.
Budgeting & Cost Control: develop long-range OPEX/CAPEX plans and justify projects.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Asset Data Management: maintain asset registers and performance metrics in SAP.
Key Contracts: negotiate and manage major T&D maintenance contracts.
Team Collaboration & Leadership: lead engineers, technicians, analysts, and contractors.
Continuous Improvement: drive process and technology improvements in asset management.
