Job summary

Werfen is seeking a Staff Systems Verification Engineer to partner with cross-functional product teams for integration, verification, and testing of IVD products. The role mentors verification engineers and drives robust test automation across software and hardware, ensuring compliance with medical device standards throughout the lifecycle.

The position offers a base salary range of $150,000 to $185,000, with bonus eligibility and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with employer

Qualifications

• BS/BA in EE, ME, or related engineering field.
• 10+ years development and/or testing in industry.
• 5+ years testing in medical device or regulated industry.
• Experience leading testing activities.
• Experience testing analog/digital embedded devices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives architecture and development of test automation systems for functional and reliability testing of medical devices.
• Leverages AI-driven tools to accelerate verification test case development.
• Maintains and versions automation framework code and scripts (Git/Bitbucket).
• Uses Jama Connect for requirements management, test case development, and traceability.
• Authors Verification Test Plans, Protocols, and Reports in line with quality standards.
