Job summary

Aeronix Inc in Melbourne, FL, seeks a Senior Systems/Test Engineer to own the requirements verification ecosystem for multiple interconnected products. You will capture, trace, verify, document, and test program requirements with DOORS and Jama, maintain RVTM, and drive test strategy in a DoD-aligned environment.

You will lead verification readiness, coordinate across software/hardware/test teams, and mentor engineers while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in systems/engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements in DOORS or Jama with structure, traceability, baselines and reviews.
• Interpret customer requirements to ensure clarity, testability, and coverage.
• Own RVTM management with bidirectional traceability from requirements to verification.
• Ensure complete requirements coverage and identify gaps across teams.
• Develop and maintain test procedures, verification plans, and qualification strategies for AS9100‑compliant testing.
• Coordinate verification across software, hardware, systems, and test engineering.
• Lead verification readiness activities and formal events (TRR/PRR/FDR).
• Maintain verification artifacts like test plans, matrices, and compliance checklists.
• Drive configuration control for requirements and verification artifacts.
• Mentor junior engineers and strengthen processes.
