Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering, test engineering, verification management, or similar role.
• US Person required; ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Position located in Melbourne, FL (not remote).

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements in DOORS or Jama, including structure, decomposition, trace links, change control, baselines, and review workflows.
• Interpret customer requirements and provide actionable feedback to ensure clarity, consistency, and testability.
• Own and maintain the RVTM with full bidirectional traceability from requirements through verification.
• Ensure complete requirements coverage across development and test teams; proactively identify gaps or misalignments.
• Develop, write, review, and maintain test procedures, verification plans, and qualification strategies to ensure repeatable, AS9100‑compliant testing.
• Coordinate verification and validation across software, hardware, systems, and test engineering.
• Work closely with developers and testers to ensure implementation aligns with requirements and test results are complete and repeatable.
• Lead verification readiness activities and formal events such as TRR and PRR/FDR.
• Maintain system‑level verification artifacts including test plans, verification matrices, integration flows, and compliance checklists.
• Drive configuration control for requirements, verification artifacts, and test procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and strengthen systems/test engineering processes across the organization.
