Job summary

Aeronix, Inc. in Melbourne, FL seeks a Senior Systems/Test Engineer to own the requirements verification ecosystem for multiple products. You will ensure all program requirements are captured, traced, verified, and tested, with expertise in DOORS/Jama and RVTM.

DoD experience is highly desirable. You will lead verification activities across software, hardware, and systems, develop test procedures, and mentor junior engineers while aligning with contractual commitments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with requirements management and traceability tools (DOORS/Jama).
• Translate high-level customer requirements into verifiable statements and tests.
• Full-lifecycle systems engineering for embedded communication systems in fixed-price, schedule-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements in DOORS or Jama, including structure, decomposition, trace links, change control, baselines, and review workflows.
• Interpret customer requirements and provide actionable feedback for clarity, consistency, and testability.
• Own and maintain RVTM with full bidirectional traceability from requirements through verification.
• Ensure complete requirements coverage across development and test teams; identify gaps or misalignments.
• Develop, write, review, and maintain test procedures, verification plans, and qualification strategies for AS9100-compliant testing.
• Coordinate verification and validation across software, hardware, systems, and test engineering.
• Work with developers and testers to ensure implementation aligns with requirements and test results are repeatable.
• Lead verification readiness activities and formal events (TRR/PRR/FDR).
• Maintain system-level verification artifacts including test plans, matrices, integration flows, and compliance checklists.
• Drive configuration control for requirements, verification artifacts, and test procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and strengthen systems/test engineering processes.
