Job summary

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Validation Engineer to join the ETF (Elite Task Force) team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing system-level validation and technical support to strategic customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in systems validation, firmware validation, or technical support.
• Hands-on experience with BMC, IPMI, Redfish, and BIOS validation.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers and on-site deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level validation and testing of IPMI, Redfish, BIOS, firmware, and software tools for strategic customers.
• Provide technical support for customer issues via root cause analysis and clear coordination.
• Support on-site deployment and validation activities at customer data centers.
• Lead or participate in 8D reports documenting root causes and corrective actions.
• Create and maintain test plans, procedures, evaluation reports, and dashboards.
• Attend customer and internal issue review meetings with technical updates and recommendations.
• Support global team collaboration to maintain validation coverage across time zones.
• Enforce system and software quality standards, identifying process improvements.
