Job summary

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Validation Engineer to join the ETF team. You will provide system-level validation and technical support to strategic customers, working with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployments and timely resolutions.

You will perform IPMI/Redfish/BMC/BIOS validation with hands-on testing, drive root cause analysis, and support both remote and on-site environments for key accounts. Travel to data centers is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in systems validation, firmware validation, or technical support.
• Strong hands-on experience with BMC, IPMI, Redfish and BIOS validation.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-level validation and testing of IPMI, Redfish, BIOS, firmware, and software tools for strategic customers.
• Provide technical support for strategic customer issues including root cause analysis and timely communication.
• Support on-site deployment and validation activities at customer data centers in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Lead or participate in failure analysis and prepare 8D reports with clear root causes and corrective actions.
• Create and maintain test plans, procedures, evaluation reports, and customer status dashboards.
• Participate in customer and internal issue review meetings with technical updates and recommendations.
• Collaborate across time zones to maintain continuous validation coverage for high-priority projects.
