Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Staff Systems Technical Program Manager in the US to lead cross-functional teams through the end-to-end lifecycle of complex electrical systems. You will guide hardware and software integration, drive strategic roadmaps, and ensure delivery on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence, and clear communication with engineering, finance, and strategy stakeholders. Hybrid work arrangement applies, onsite four days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 8+ years in an engineering setting with complex systems.
• 7+ years in product development from design to integration.
• Proven leadership in managing technical teams and programs.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, JAMA, Smartsheet or MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end system deliverables including hardware and software integration.
• Support Platform System Technical Program Management in delivering hardware/software integration.
• Define and champion the vision for systems and electronics integration.
• Represent the Systems organization in cross-functional forums and provide program updates.
• Drive issue resolution from design reviews to maintain schedule and timelines.
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of software defined ECUs across in-house and supplier components.
• Partner to define a multi-year roadmap and strategic vision.
• Support key decisions across engineering, finance, and strategy.
• Present information to technical and non-technical audiences from team to executive briefings.
• Identify and mitigate risks and implement interim containment plans.
