Job summary

Fibertek Inc. is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to serve as the Test Manager for the U.S. Army C5ISR Center Javelin Seeker effort.

This role provides programmatic T&E oversight across the full acquisition life cycle and EM D phase, ensuring test planning, readiness, execution, and reporting align with requirements and Army needs. The candidate will advise government and industry stakeholders, review contractor test documentation, lead multi-agency test synchronization, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, or Systems Engineering, or a related STEM discipline
• 10+ years of progressive systems engineering and Test & Evaluation experience on defense programs
• Experience supporting acquisition-level qualification, verification, and T&E across the full life cycle
• Knowledge of U.S. Army T&E processes and coordination with ATEC, RTC, and other stakeholders
• Ability to lead complex T&E efforts and communicate results to government and contractors
• Experience with EO/IR systems, seekers, sensors, or electro-optical payloads
• Strong briefing, analytical, and technical writing skills
• U.S. citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Author and staff T&E strategy and plans aligned with system specs and Army regs
• Lead T&E WIPTs and chair TRRs; participate in SFRs, PDRs, CDRs
• Guide test activities per SEP; manage RVTM for end-to-end verification
• Ensure traceability between requirements, verification, and test results
• Establish sub-working groups; deconflict issues; elevate risks to SEIT
• Manage T&E schedule and coordinate test resources with Army facilities
• Oversee contractor test events and review test data and reports
• Witness on-site and lab testing; monitor data collection for evaluations
• Support independent technical assessments of test adequacy and risks
• Lead investigations for test anomalies and regression testing
• Identify and track T&E programmatic risks and mitigation plans
• Synthesize data into executive briefings and system risk assessments
