Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced EO/IR Systems Engineer to serve as Test Manager for the U.S. Army C5ISR Center Javelin Seeker effort. You will provide programmatic Test & Evaluation oversight across the full life cycle, ensuring test readiness, execution, and reporting align with requirements and Army needs. The role requires strong systems engineering background and DoD credentials, with collaboration across government and industry stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, or Systems Engineering, or related STEM.
• 7+ years of progressive systems engineering and Test & Evaluation experience in defense.
• Experience supporting acquisition-level qualification, verification, and T&E across full life cycle.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Strong briefing, analytical, and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Author, update, and staff the component T&E strategy and plans.
• Lead T&E Working IPTs and chair Test Readiness Reviews.
• Guide test activities per SEP; manage RVTM and requirements closure.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, verification, and test results.
• Witness on-site and lab testing; oversee data collection and evaluations.
• Lead investigations for test anomalies and corrective actions.
