Job summary

Mytra is seeking a highly capable Systems Test Engineer to design and execute structural and dynamic tests for warehouse robotics and pallet racking systems. You will validate performance, write procedures, and collaborate with design, firmware, and systems teams to ensure safety margins and reliability in real-world environments.

The position requires on-site work at our Brisbane, CA headquarters, with emphasis on robust data analysis and test method development for high-load assemblies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years designing and executing test plans for complex electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for data analysis and scripting.
• Experience with test instrumentation and data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and reliable operation of test equipment and fixtures in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, mechanical, and firmware teams on test planning and analysis.
• Develop standardized test methods, procedures, and operation manuals.
• Design and build custom test fixtures and instrumentation for HALT testing.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to determine testing needs.
• Contribute to root-cause analysis and engineering improvements.
• Plan and execute tasks using project management tools.
