Job summary

Mytra is seeking a mechanically oriented Systems Test Engineer to design and execute structural and dynamic tests for warehouse robotics and pallet racking systems at our Brisbane, CA headquarters. You will validate performance and safety margins through robust test methodologies.

Collaborating with mechanical, firmware, and systems engineering teams, you will develop repeatable test methods, build custom fixtures with actuators and sensors, perform HALT testing, and contribute to root-cause

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing and executing test plans for complex electromechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for analyzing datasets and scripting.
• Experience with test instrumentation and data acquisition.
• Hands-on capability in mechanical prototyping and fixture fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe operation of test equipment and fixtures in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, mechanical, and firmware teams.
• Develop and document standardized test methods; write procedures and manuals.
• Design and build custom test fixtures and instrumentation for HALT testing.
• Analyze drawings to determine testing requirements.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and drive improvements.
• Plan and execute tasks using project management tools.
