Job summary

AV in Moorpark, CA seeks a Sr. System Test Engineer to develop and execute system test plans for small unmanned air vehicles and missiles, including simulator, ground and flight tests, with data logging and analysis.

Responsibilities include leading developmental testing, reviewing requirements, coordinating with labs and engineers, and ensuring test assets and procedures are ready. Travel 10-30% within the Continental U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software, systems, electrical, mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• Advanced degree in related discipline preferred.
• Experience documenting test plans, procedures and reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for UAVs and missiles.
• Lead developmental test and flight readiness reviews.
• Review system requirements for testability and conciseness.
• Prepare test assets, write procedures, and configure hardware/software.
• Analyze test data using MATLAB or Excel and report results.
• Coordinate with labs, engineers, and technicians during tests.
